Yep, I said it. I joked that I can smell the scalp funk from girls who only wash their hair once a week. My advice? Have your bestie give your scalp a sniff check. But here\u2019s the science-y truth:&nbsp;<strong>dry shampoo doesn\u2019t actually clean your hair<\/strong>. It just absorbs oil and masks odor. According to&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.healthline.com\/health\/smelly-scalp\">Healthline<\/a>, it\u2019s basically like spraying perfume on a sweaty shirt. Better than nothing, sure.
